The driver has to be able to drive according to requirements of the traffic environment. The driver has to know the traffic rules and be able to apply them. Traffic control systems like road markings, traffic signs, traffic lights and traffic controllers give essential information for our driving.

Vehicles must keep on the roadway. If there is a road verge on the right, which can be used without problems, bicycle or other non-motorized vehicle and moped has to be kept on the road verge.
Children under the age of 12 may cycle on the sidewalk, provided that they do not cause unreasonable annoyance to pedestrians.
